Lincoln Book Festival 2025: A New Chapter Awaits
As summer unfolds, we’re busy behind the scenes preparing for the return of Lincoln Book Festival this October—and we can’t wait to share what’s in store.
While we’re not quite ready to reveal the full line-up just yet, we can promise a festival full of imagination, inspiration, and storytelling for all ages. From thought-provoking talks and creative workshops to family-friendly fun and community events, this year’s programme will offer something for every kind of reader.
Our 2025 theme — heroes and villains — invites audiences to explore the characters, choices, and conflicts that make stories unforgettable. Whether you love classic literature, gripping thrillers, folklore, poetry, or children’s books, there’ll be plenty to discover and enjoy. We’re ecstatic that the Lincoln Arts Centre will once again serve as our festival hub and co-producer for the festival programme.
We’ll be announcing the full programme in August, with tickets going on sale shortly after. In the meantime, keep an eye on our website and social media for updates—and don’t forget to enter our popular Flash Fiction Competition, now open to writers of all ages. You can sign up for our newsletter too if you prefer to get updates straight to your inbox.
So save the date: Lincoln Book Festival returns 2–5 October 2025 at venues across the city.
