John Robb has travelled to all corners of the music world as a musician and journalist, as the bassist and singer for the mid-1980s post-punk band The Membranes, coining the word ‘Britpop’ and being the first person to interview Nirvana. We are delighted to welcome him back to Lincoln with his new book, The Art of Darkness: The History of Goth – a riot of interviews and anecdotes from the musicians who sound-tracked black-clad generations.
